Are you a Squamish gal aged 18+? Are you awesome? Do you like hanging out with other women? Do you like to work hard? Do you enjoy physical challenges? Do you ever feel like life would be better if you could hip check someone... and have others cheer you on for doing it? Roller derby might be for you!

On September 9th, 2012 drop in at Totem Hall between 7 and 9pm and meet the Sea to Sky Sirens to learn more about our league, the sport of roller derby, and what it takes to get involved. We'll be around to a

nswer your questions and demonstrate some roller derby skills and drills for you. Loaner gear will be available on a first come, first served basis for anyone interested in trying their hand at skating - please bring your own helmet if possible.

After an awesome bout (and another win under our belts!) against the lovely Voodoo Dollz out in Chilliwack, we're super pumped for our next bout! On Friday, November 11th at 7pm, the Sea to Sky Sirens will be facing off against the Reign Valley Vixens. This bout will be taking place at the Tradex in Abbotsford during the Winter Extreme Ski Show and Swap. And here's the best part:

A donation for the Abbotsford Food Bank gets you in for free!

Is there anything better than getting to watch a bout for free while supporting a great cause? We think not!

The Sea to Sky Sirens Are Recruiting!

Interested in joining our league as a player or a referee? Fantastic! Come by Totem Hall on Sunday, September 25th from 7pm to 10pm to get all of the information you need. You'll have a chance to meet the players, find out what it takes to be a league member, watch a scrimmage, and try your hand at skating (gear available on a first come, first served basis - please bring your own helmet). That's right! Three hours of super awesome derby-tastic fun times!

Chilli Chilli Bang Bang - Oct. 1st, 2011

After wrapping up our home season in style by defeating the Sunshine Coast Rollergirls and then hitting the road for a bout against the Tournament City Derby Dolls in Kamloops, BC, we're looking forward to what lies ahead!

Our next bout is Chilli Chilli Bang Bang, an away game against Chilliwack's Voodoo Derby Dollz. We can't wait! We've had the good fortune of playing with and against some of the Dollz at scrimmages and bouts, and we're so pumped to have the honour of playing these girls at their first home bout!
